EA Mock Test Proctoring

How VantageEA proctoring works

VantageEA gives EA candidates two practical proctoring levels: Lite for everyday accountability and Full Proctoring for eligible sessions that need a stricter remote-exam rehearsal.

Choose the right level of accountability

Proctoring should support better practice, not distract from studying. Lite keeps normal mock tests lightweight. Full Proctoring gives eligible students a more serious environment before exam day.

Lite Proctoring

Attention monitoring without recording

Lite is built for everyday practice. It tracks tab switches, window focus changes, and related browser attention signals without using webcam or screen recording.

  • Tab and browser attention signals
  • Related session activity
  • Timestamped session timeline
  • No webcam or screen recording

Full Proctoring

A closer rehearsal for remote exam conditions

Full Proctoring adds consent-based webcam and screen evidence, lightweight face-presence checks, and review tools for sessions where students want a stricter exam-day simulation.

  • Everything in Lite Proctoring
  • Webcam and screen evidence
  • Face-presence and attention events
  • Private admin review workflow

What happens during a proctored mock test

The flow is designed to be clear before the session starts and reviewable after it ends.

01

Choose the proctoring level

Students start with Lite by default. Eligible plans can use Full Proctoring when session settings support a stricter mock exam experience.

02

Review permissions first

Full Proctoring requires a clear consent step before camera, screen, or recording permissions are requested.

03

Take the mock test

VantageEA records relevant attention events during the session and keeps the testing interface focused on the exam.

04

Review, retain, then delete

Full Proctoring sessions can be reviewed through an admin timeline and are covered by a 30-day retention policy.

Privacy by Design

Built to keep proctoring focused and limited

VantageEA proctoring is for practice-test integrity. We avoid collecting data that is not needed for that purpose, and we separate marketing claims from what the product actually does.

Review proctoring terms

No biometric identity profile

Face-presence checks are used to create review events only. VantageEA does not store face embeddings or biometric identity templates.

Purpose-limited review

Proctoring data is used for exam-integrity review of practice sessions, not advertising or unrelated profiling.

Student control

Students can choose Lite Proctoring for normal study and can review our privacy policy before using Full Proctoring.

Proctoring questions

Does Lite Proctoring record my webcam or screen?

No. Lite Proctoring tracks browser attention signals such as tab switches, focus changes, and related session activity. It does not use webcam or screen recording.

How long is proctoring data kept?

VantageEA keeps proctoring recordings and events under a 30-day retention policy. You can also request erasure through the privacy process.
